Delivery and Returns FAQs


What happens after I place an order? 

  • When you place an order with Session Kit, you will receive an ‘Order Confirmation’ email. This confirms that we have received your order.

  • We will carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction.

  • Once your order is accepted, your card will be charged, and your order will be dispatched to you. We will send you an ‘Order Shipped’ email to confirm this. 

  • We aim to dispatch all orders within five working days. Please note that the delivery time of your service (e.g. 24 or 48 hours) applies from the time of dispatch, not from the moment your order is placed.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I’VE MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY ORDER?

  • Please contact us as quickly as possible on info@sessionkit.com with the subject heading: URGENT AMENDMENT.

  • Sometimes orders are processed very quickly. We will try our best to accommodate your request, but it is not always possible for us to amend an order once it has been placed.


How will my order be delivered?

  • Your delivery options and prices will be shown to you at checkout, based on where you are located. Delivery options and prices are updated regularly and subject to change at any time.

  • In the UK, most parcels (under 20kg) will be shipped with either Royal Mail 24 or 48 for delivery within one or two days.

  • If you are outside the UK, orders under 2kg will be delivered by Royal Mail International. Orders over 2kg will be delivered by international courier. On very rare occasions, if you have placed a particularly heavy international order, we may need to contact you to arrange alternative delivery services.

  • Please note that if your order is to be delivered outside the UK, you are liable for any relevant customs duties and import taxes payable on your order.

  • Upon receiving your order, please check your item(s) carefully and contact us as soon as possible if there are any issues.


What happens if I am unhappy with my item(s)?

  • We hope you love the products you have ordered. However, if for any reason you are unsatisfied, you may return any unused, unsealed item within 14 calendar days of receipt. 

  • Please ensure you contact us for returns approval before dispatching your items back to us.

  • If you have not received the entire order as detailed in the ‘Order Shipped’ email sent to you when an order is dispatched, please contact us on info@sessionkit.com.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights. At Session Kit we care about customer satisfaction and will deal with any problems which may arise on an individual basis, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Please click here for our full returns policy.

how does Brexit affect my order?

As of the 1st January 2021, the UK is no longer part of the European Union. This has caused some changes to international shipping. But don’t worry – we are doing everything we can to ensure that your shopping experience with Session Kit is as smooth and as stress-free as possible. We are working hard to ensure that we can get the best quality hairdressing products into the hands of every single one of you. The key changes are as follows:

  • Some of our shipping prices have changed

    As a result of Brexit, many couriers have increased their prices for shipping from the UK. We have undertaken a review of all our shipping prices to ensure they are as competitive as possible.

  • customs charges are now payable on orders shipping to countries in the eu

    Customs charges are now payable on all international orders, including those shipping to the EU which would have been previously unaffected. Customs charges become payable when your order enters the destination country. Please keep an eye out for your customs email. Your order may not be released to you if you do not pay the charges, and we cannot be held responsible for any charges or inconvenience incurred.

  • it is essential that you provide accurate delivery information

    It is more important than ever that we have accurate delivery information for you. We have added extra reminders at checkout to ensure the information you provide is 100% correct. This is to help both us and you, to ensure that your parcel is going to the right place and that we can contact you if needed, regarding customs or to resolve any problems. We will not use your contact information for any other purpose.
